About the Role

Are you interested in healthcare operations and making a real impact behind the scenes of patient care? As Summer Intern within our Specialty and Infusion Pharmacy Operations department, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to how critical pharmacy services support patients every day. This role is ideal for students looking to develop professional skills in healthcare administration, operations, and cross-functional collaboration.

What Your Summer Includes 

  • Real Work, Real Impact: You’ll contribute to meaningful projects while gaining hands-on experience in specialty and infusion pharmacy operations within a fast-paced healthcare environment. You’ll build in-demand skills and see how our team supports a global organization by:

    • Supporting day-to-day pharmacy operations, including patient onboarding and maintaining demographic and medication profile information

    • Partnering with Medical Records and Order Confirmation teams to obtain patient documentation and confirm medication reports

    • Communicating with pharmacists and staff to collect, document, and track medication inventory and assessment data for clinical review

    • Assisting with administrative and project-based work tied to departmental goals and continuous improvement

    • Developing professional skills such as communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving

    • Identifying and escalating questions, concerns, or process improvement opportunities as appropriate

    • Maintaining strict confidentiality of patient and healthcare information

    • Contributing to a patient-first culture focused on service, quality, and professionalism

  • Community: Learn from experienced professionals, network with other employees, and gain exposure to senior leaders

  • Speaker Series: Attend exclusive talks by industry experts and company leaders to broaden your perspective

We’re seeking a curious, driven student who has: 

  • Completed at least 1 year of their bachelor's degree program in a preferred major and/or minor of Biology, Healthcare Administration, General Science, Public Health or related discipline.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team

  • Professionalism, reliability, and a strong commitment to confidentiality

  • Interest in healthcare, pharmacy operations, or patient services

  • Previous experience & knowledge in the pharmacy or medical setting is preferred

Additional Information:

  • Start Date: Monday May 18th, 2026

  • Location: This is a Hybrid position out of Oakdale, PA. A Hybrid position means that you will be expected to work out of the office 3 days a week (T, W, TH) with flexibility to work at home for balance of time. The internship is paid, and housing assistance is not offered 

  • Market Range: For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of $19.00 - $21.00/hr depending on relevant factors, including educational experience

  • Work Authorization: This position is open only to individuals who are eligible for employment in the United States and who would not require visa support including H-1B or CPT/OPT/STEM, etc., now or in the future


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
