 The Graduate Admissions team at High Point University leads the recruitment, application, and enrollment process for prospective graduate students across a wide range of programs. The team develops and executes strategic marketing and outreach initiatives to attract high-quality candidates. Staff members provide personalized guidance to applicants, from initial inquiry through enrollment, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience. Through data-driven decision-making and collaborative partnerships across campus, Graduate Admissions works to grow and strengthen the university’s graduate programs.

Job Description:

 High Point University’s Office of Graduate Admissions is seeking a Summer Marketing and Graphic Design Associate to join our team for a hands-on internship experience supporting graduate program recruitment and marketing initiatives.

This position is ideal for rising sophomores, juniors and seniors interested in marketing, communications, graphic design, analytics, and higher education administration. 

You’ll be working directly with Ellen Bassett, Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications, High Point University Graduate Admissions. Ellen has over 30 years of advertising experience and is an award-winning copywriter. You’ll gain real-world experience supporting campaigns designed to attract prospective graduate students.

Students will have the opportunity to contribute to projects that include digital marketing, event promotion, social media strategy, and marketing analytics.

Job Location & Hours:

Millis Athletic Center and HPU Campus

The student employee will perform most or all job duties at: Millis Athletic Center

Work hours may vary depending on departmental needs; however, student employees are limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week. This position requires up to [16] hours per week.
