Internship Description:
The Meetings & Events Intern will play a vital role on the SEIA Meetings & Events department, reporting to the Director, Meetings & Events. They will assist the Manager, Meetings & Events and Coordinator, Meetings & Events with registration tasks in SEIA’s event management platform and will be responsible for answering customer service requests. The Intern will help the Coordinator, Meetings & Events with competitive event research and data entry as we look to grow the Meetings & Events portfolio. They will also be responsible for assisting the team with SEIA’s summer events by providing F&B management, AV coordinator, room set management, and coordination with SEIA’s internal teams. Some onsite event assistance by be required..
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Researching leads
- Proofreading Whitepapers
- Filing
- Participating in calls and webinars
- Registration Management
- Calendar Management
Requirements
Requirements:

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Experience with Salesforce and MS Outlook preferred

Compensation:

Working Conditions
- This position is 20 hours/week
- This internship is based in the Washington, DC office
- Interns MUST be in the office on designated team days (3 days a week) and specifically on Wednesdays for cohort touch base.
