In the Digital Content Producer role, you will work alongside marketing, communications and programs teams to produce engaging and informative content for external and internal audiences. You will learn about Habitat for Humanity’s work in Canada and around the world and how to drive engagement, advocacy and fundraising for a cause that matters.
What you will do
75%: Social media
- Originate,produceand publish engaging social media content including graphics, short-form videos, stories, and reels for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to tell compelling stories about Habitat for Humanity’s national and global programs and advocacy and fundraising campaigns.
- Build on the organization’s social strategy with creative ideas for content thatmaintainHabitat’s brand and speak to our priority audiences.
- Maintain a consistent brand voicein keeping with our brand and style guides.
- Monitor social channels, respond to comments, and helpgrowonline community engagement.
- Organize and manage digital assets while learning best practices for brand consistency.
25%: Intranet content
- You will support the global programs team to organize information and reporting from Habitat for Humanity International to share withlocal Habitat for Humanity organizations across Canada.
- Adapt the information for Habitat for Humanity’s intranetinMicrosoftSharepoint.
- Organize and publish the updates usingSharepointfor Canada’s Habitat for Humanity network.

What we are looking for
- Passion for social media, marketing,andcreativestorytelling.
- Basic skills in video editing and graphic design using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiar with or willingness to learn publishing in Microsoft’sSharepoint.
- Strong short-formwriting skills with a commitment to accuracy, goodgrammarand spelling.
- An interest in solutions to the global affordable housing crisis.
- An interest in the non-profit,charitableor international development sector.
- Creative mindset and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team.
Location: Toronto (Hybrid)
Compensation: $17.60 per hour
Contract Duration: 8 weeks
