About the Role

Summary of Duties

Responsible for software development, FPGA firmware development, circuit board schematic design and layout, electronic assembly and subassembly characterization planning and execution, coordinating test hardware fabrication and assembly, system level design and analysis, and any other tasks assigned by supervisor.


Scope of Position

  • Reports to: Engineer supervisor or manager.
  • Supervises: None
  • Signature Authorities: None.
  • Level of Interaction: Interacts with supervisor and other team members.


Minimum Qualifications

 

Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited Engineering program. Student shall be, at a minimum, in their 3rd year of the program. This position is well suited for individuals currently enrolled in a graduate program, though all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.

Experience: None.

 

Abilities, Knowledge, and Skills: Must be able to learn quickly. Must have background knowledge relating to electrical engineering and software development. Must have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
