Kings River Packing is a grower, packer and shipper of citrus from the San Joaquin Valley in California. We are a family owned and operated business since 1977 and are eighth generation farmers. We take pride in the citrus that we grow and pack so that people all over the US and Canada can enjoy the fruits of our labor. We grow Navel Oranges, Raspberry Oranges, Lemons, Mandarins, Minneolas, Cara Cara Navels, and Valencia's.

 This is a full-time, on-site role at Kings River Packing, LP headquarters office in Sanger, CA. 


This program is designed as a yearlong internship and is not intended for candidates with summer only availability.

About the Role


Kings River Packing, LP seeks to hire a Sales & Marketing Intern to participate in a 12-month Internship Program. Reporting to the VP of Operations, this paid internship is designed to provide hands-on experience across multiple departments within the organization. The intern will rotate through key functional areas to gain a comprehensive understanding of company operations, including farming, production, sales, and marketing.


Work You’ll Do

  • Participate in structured department rotations across the organization
  • Gain practical, hands-on experience in operational, commercial, and administrative functions
  • Learn end-to-end business processes from production through sales
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support day-to-day department activities
  • Demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic throughout the program
  • Interns will rotate through multiple departments and sheds
  • Rotations are designed to provide in-depth exposure to each area of the business
  • A proposed rotation schedule will be provided at the start of the program
  • Perform additional duties as assigned


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, agriculture business, marketing, or related field. Students currently enrolled in their last semester will be considered
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Alignment with the company’s mission and core values

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods and engage in consistent communication via phone and meetings
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Onsite work schedule: Monday - Friday, with flexibility as business needs require

Compensation & Benefits

  • $22.00 - $25.00 hourly rate, depending on experience
