Responsibilities include: Use AutoCAD to create architectural drawings and equipment details Use SolidWorks to create 3-D models of equipment and parts Use Excel to tabulate load testing data and perform calculations Assist project managers in creating and completing written reports Perform engineering calculations on equipment designs Work closely with professional engineers Assist engineers in mechanical integrity inspections and evaluations of tanks, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping, etc. Remove, install, load test and inspect fall restraint systems Assist in keeping equipment storage organized Adhere to all ATS policies and procedures An hourly rate shall be paid (plus OT as applicable) Applicants must complete a drug screen and have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma Must be an active student enrolled in a college or university Pursuing a career path in: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering or related field. Excellent communication skills written and verbal Willing to travel <20% Work Conditions Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection. May be required to travel to client locations and sites Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds Sufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodations, which permits employee to investigations EOE/AA/M/F/Vet/Disabled
