Summer Intern (On-Site)
Pay Rate: $20 per hour
Location: On location (in-person/Albany)


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to provide administrative and project support during the summer term. This role offers hands-on experience in office operations, data management, and professional communications while supporting HR and special projects. The current project focus will be on transitioning existing intranet content into a “new to us” platform called Simplrr.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management

  • Perform accurate data entry and update internal databases

  • Scan, file, and organize electronic and physical documents

Correspondence

  • Prepare, proofread, and distribute reports, emails, and business correspondence

  • Assist in maintaining professional and timely communication across teams

Projects

  • Support HR initiatives and special projects

  • Assist with research, data gathering, and project documentation

Process Improvement

  • Help identify opportunities to improve office workflows, procedures, and internal communication

  • Assist in implementing process improvements as directed

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and web-based platforms, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies

  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills

  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Ability to work effectively in an on-site, professional office environment
