Job Description: 

Join a multidisciplinary team developing scalable software systems that optimize Intel's internal cloud-based infrastructure.
You will work alongside software developers, data scientists, and DevOps engineers on impactful projects that span backend architecture, user-facing applications, and intelligent system optimizations, directly influencing how our compute infrastructure operates.

Responsibilities
•    Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions using Python and/or Java
•    Collaborate with the team to build scalable backend services, interactive user interfaces, and data processing pipelines
•    Analyze system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement programmatic optimizations
•    Work with large-scale datasets from production environments to support engineering decisions
•    Document software architectures and workflows, and present findings to technical stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Data Science with 4 semesters remaining until graduation.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python or Java
• Understanding of core computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
• Ability to tackle complex problems and adapt to different layers of the software stack (frontend, backend, or data)
• Strong communication skills and a natural curiosity about infrastructure systems
