Boeing Japan Supply Chain Asia Global Field Operation is looking for an Intern to be based in our offices at supplier sites. As an intern at Boeing Japan, you’ll gain hands-on experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with teams that do truly amazing things.
 
A successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills:

Ability to develop Supply Chain Value Stream Map. 

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal stakeholders and supplier focal.

Develop presentation material for leadership reviews, including project plans with timelines.

Join us as we build the future in intern will have the chance to support engineering projects in military systems, commercial aircraft or technology development. Internship opportunities are available in but not limited to: aerospace/flight, mechanical/structural, electrical, software, systems, industrial, material and test engineering.

About Supply Chain Asia Global Field Operation:

We are one of the largest organizations at Boeing Japan with teammates from various backgrounds who contribute to support smooth supply chain operations to the world's biggest aerospace company. Partnering with Supply Chain teams for functional excellence, regional supplier oversight, and safeguarding the on-time delivery of high-quality parts, material and major structures being produced by Japanese Tier 1 suppliers and their sub-tier suppliers for Boeing Commercial Airplanes

Target period:

August 3, 2026 (Monday) to September 30, 2026 (Wednesday)

Monday-Friday/9:00-17:30 *5 days a week, full-time

*Boeing Japan fulltime is 37.5hours/week, 7.5hours/day.

Conditions:

190,000 yen ～ per month (for 5 full-time jobs per week)

Location:

Nagoya-Japan, (on-site)/Tokyo (Tachikawa) -Japan (on-site)

Position Responsibilities:

• Participate in and conduct day-to-day operation in the rotated business functions.

• Conduct analyses and research for specific projects to prepare reports that will be edited and published after internship.

• Interact and relationship with stakeholders in Boeing Japan Stakeholder and Boeing suppliers.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

• Ability to work full-time for eight weeks during the 2026 calendar year.

• Authorized to work in Japan (up to 40H/week)

• Undergraduate, masters, or PhD students who will graduate between Oct 2026 and Jul 2028.

• Basic knowledge of Supply Chain Operation and Manufacturing Operation.

• Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma is plus

• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project or similar project management tool.

• English speaking and writing skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Business level of speaking and writing Japanese (JLPT-N3 or better)

Supply Chain Asia Global Field Operation部門とは？

ボーイングジャパンの中でも大きな組織の一つであり、様々なバックグラウンドを持つ仲間が世界最大の航空宇宙企業のサプライチェーンで活躍しています。民間航空機部門向けの材料、機体や旅客機用製品を生産するボーイングの一次・二次サプライヤー社において、米国のサプライチェーンチームと連携し、高品質、かつ納期の順守を遂行することが部門の主要なミッションです。

対象期間

2026年8月3日（月）～2026年9月30日（水）

月～金/9：00～17:30　※週5・フルタイム

※ボーイングジャパンでのフルタイムは7.5時間/日、37.5時間/週となります。

主な業務内容：

主な業務内容は下記の通りとなります。（複数の業務を同時並行で行っていただくこともございます）

• 配属された業務部門における日々の業務に参加し、遂行する。

• 特定のプロジェクト等に関する分析と調査を行い、レポートを作成する（インターンシップ終了後に編集・公開されることもございます）

• ボーイングジャパンのステークホルダーおよびボーイングのサプライヤーと交流し、関係を構築する。

日本国内にて就業可能なVISAをお持ちの方（資格外活動許可にて長期休業中に40時間/週までの許可をお持ちの方）

現在大学、大学院（修士・博士を含む）に在学中であり、2026年10月～2028年7月の期間内に卒業予定の方

サプライチェーン業務および製造業に関する基礎知識。

リーン生産方式およびシックスシグマに関する理解があれば尚可。

Excel、PowerPoint、MS Projectまたは同等のプロジェクト管理ツールを問題なく使いこなせること。

ビジネスレベル以上の英語力（読み書き、コミュニケーションとも）

あると望ましいスキル：

ビジネスレベル以上の日本語力（読み書き、コミュニケーションとも/日本語能力検定N3以上）
