Critical Systems Support

  • Assist in the monitoring and basic operation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within the data center
  • Support routine checks of mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and security systems to ensure normal operation
  • Learn and follow established safety policies, procedures, and best practices under supervision

Operations & Team Support

  • Support shift teams with daily operational activities and handover documentation
  • Observe 24/7 operations and assist with coordination tasks as assigned
  • Help with simple planning and tracking activities related to resources and workflows

Maintenance & Engineering Exposure

  • Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities under the guidance of engineers and technicians
  • Support coordination with vendors and contractors during maintenance or minor upgrade works
  • Help collect maintenance data, log issues, and track work orders
  • Learn basic troubleshooting techniques and assist in issue resolution under supervision

Safety & Compliance

  • Support compliance with building codes, environmental, health & safety requirements
  • Assist in maintaining documentation, permits, and records for audits and inspections
  • Participate in safety briefings, drills, and training sessions

Technical & Analytical Support

  • Assist in evaluating facility systems and operational performance
  • Help gather, organize, and analyse operational data and reports
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies or improvement opportunities

Learning & Development

  • Gain hands-on exposure to data center critical infrastructure and facilities management
  • Learn industry best practices, standards, and operational procedures
  • Support the Mechanical Engineering Manager and Critical Services Manager on assigned projects and initiatives

Candidate Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong interest in data center operations, facilities, or critical engineering systems
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles (MEP preferred)
  • Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving mindset
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn, take instructions, and work in a team-based environment
