Position Overview 

GS Power Partners (GSPP) is seeking a collaborative, highly driven and results-oriented professional for a summer internship for its Corporate Strategy department. This position requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, superior communication skills, and the ability to work with a cross-functional team of professionals. The Corporate Strategy team plays a central role in developing and refining the processes that help GSPP achieve its broader company goals, spanning interdepartmental communication, information sharing, company reporting, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for the solar industry, thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities, and be eager to contribute across a wide range of strategic initiatives. 

 Key Position Responsibilities Include 

  • Support the Corporate Strategy team in developing presentations, reports, and analyses that inform company-wide decision-making 
  • Assist in creating and refining internal processes to improve interdepartmental communication, information sharing, and overall company efficiency 
  • Conduct research and data collection across departments to identify opportunities for operational improvement and strategic growth 
  • Prepare polished PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders 
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization, including Development, Finance, Capital Markets, Asset Management, and Interconnection – to provide strategic support where needed 
  • Contribute to special projects and ad hoc analyses as priorities evolve, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn 

 Preferred Qualifications and Experience 

  • Demonstrated solar interest 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel; comfort with building presentations, organizing data, and creating clear visual summaries 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex information into concise, actionable insights 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously 
  • Financial modeling and coding skills are a plus 
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-past environment  

 Education 

  • Applicants should be enrolled in an undergraduate program. Juniors and Seniors preferred  
  • Preferred Majors: Business Strategy, Economics, Environmental studies, or a related field   

 Position Location 

  • The Corporate Strategy Intern will report to our NYC office Monday to Thursday 

 Compensation 

  • Paid internship working 4 days a week (Monday - Thursday)
