About the Role
Job Overview

This internship will be responsible for assisting in formulary management and the post-Pharmacy and Therapeutics implementation process. This is a casual position with the expectation of approximately 6-8 hours per week.

 

Responsibilities will include: assisting in maintaining and updating medication information on our internal department website, developing medication monographs, and performing small medication use evaluations as well as assisting with drug information questions. 

 

Skills: A second year pharmacy student that is experienced in utilizing Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Powerpoint, and Excel. Other skills that are preferred: previous data and analytics experience and a strong understanding of statistics. 


Required Qualifications

  • Enrolled as a Student at an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy beginning Fall
  • Finished First Year of Pharmacy School
  • Excellent customer service skills, proficient in English language, capable of solving problems effectively, ability to follow policies and procedures, and competent mathematical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Enrolled as a Student at the University of Minnesota School of Pharmacy
  • Pharmacy experience in infusion therapies, retail and/or hospital setting
  • Minnesota Pharmacy Intern License
