About the Role
 
For College Students Only

Are you a college student looking to further your knowledge and advance in your career while providing end user support for software, hardware, and network queries? IN this position you will have the opportunity to use the skills you have gained to identify, research, and resolve technical probelms as presented though the HelpDesk kiosk. You will assist the Information Technology department by documenting, tracking, and monitoring problems and ensuring timely responses. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve trouble tickets related to technical difficulties with hardware, software, and the network.
  • Perform PC setups as outlined in the PC Hardening Checklist
  • Collaborate with other staff to recreate problems in the test environment
  • Verify with the requester that the issue has been resolved and update the ticketing system
  • Communicate plan, progress, and issues in a timely manner
  • Actively contribute to ongoing process improvement
  • Performs other duties or special projects as assigned
  • Ability to complete multiple simultaneous projects in a timely manner

Experience:

Information technology interest or seeking a degree in information technology.
