Duration: 6/22/2026 – 8/13/2026 (8 weeks – maximum of 29 hrs. per week)


CJ America’s HQ Office (Los Angeles) is currently recruiting college students for the 2026 Summer Internship programs.

This is a part-time paid internship. The ideal candidate will be an organized self-starter who is interested in hands-on experience in the areas of developing a strategic mindset through CJ’s core global business pillars including Food/Food Services, Biotech, Logistics, Retail and Entertainment sectors, while adhering to CJ’s “HAGOJABI” talent philosophy and core values: TALENT (Exceptional Talent & Exceptional Culture), ONLYONE (First, Best & Different), and SHARED GROWTH (Building Ecosystems and Shared Value).

Job Overview:

As a Summer Intern (Finance), you will gain direct exposure to Accounting, Tax, and Treasury functions by providing essential support in financial reporting, tax-related documentation, and cash management activities. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in core financial operations, allowing the successful candidate to collaborate with internal stakeholders within a dynamic, global corporate environment

Key Responsibilities:

The intern will support the Finance department across three primary pillars while maintaining the following workflow:

[Accounting]

  • Data Entry: Assist with basic data entry to ensure accurate accounting records.
  • Documentation: Support the filing and organization of invoices and vouchers to maintain audit readiness.
  • Month-End Support: Assist with preparation tasks for the monthly closing process as needed.


[Tax]

  • Organization: Help curate and organize tax-related documents and supporting materials.
  • Filing Preparation: Assist with basic data preparation for various tax filings (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, etc.)
  • Coordination: Support communication with internal teams to streamline tax documentation workflows.


[Treasury]

  • Cash Management: Assist with tracking and updating daily cash balances.
  • Banking Support: Maintain bank-related documentation and organized record-keeping.
  • Reporting: Utilize Excel to help prepare straightforward internal financial reports.
  • Administration: Perform general administrative tasks to support treasury operations.
  • Market Research: Conduct basic research on financial markets (e.g., interest rates, FX trends, etc.)
  • Data Collection: Gather and organize publicly available market data and news.
  • Summarization: Support the team by preparing simple summaries and reference materials.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Current undergraduate or recent graduate in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Financial Analytics, or related fields.
  • Strong research skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects 
  • Self-motivated, organized, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment 
  • Proactive attitude with the willingness to take on new challenges and learn from experienced professionals 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Bilingual in English/Korean preferred 
  • At least 18 years of age by June 21, 2026
  • Capable of commuting to our Los Angeles office from Monday to Thursday (*Remote work options are not available).
  • Authorized to work in the United States

 

 

The anticipated hourly wage range for interns who will work in Los Angeles is $23 per hour to $25 per hour. The final hourly rate offered to a successful candidate will be subject to several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of the candidate’s experience within the job; type and length of experience within the specific industry; educational background; and the location of internship. This hourly wage range may not reflect the pay scale for interns who work in other states.
