About The Company

Mission

Drive the digital presence of KNIME by maintaining a polished, high-quality user experience on the current website and play a hands-on role in our upcoming website migration.

Role Overview

As Working Student Website Marketing, you are ensuring the website remains polished, functional, and up-to-date. You will play a hands-on role in a major website migration, gaining end-to-end exposure to auditing, restructuring, and launching content at scale within a modern CMS. By collaborating across departments and meticulously reviewing every detail - from SEO metadata to layout consistency - you will bridge the gap between creative concepts and technical execution.

Responsibilities

  • Support the marketing team in keeping knime.com up to date in Drupal, publishing new pages, updating content, swapping assets, and ensuring everything looks polished.
  • Play a hands-on role in our upcoming website migration. This includes auditing existing content, helping restructure pages, and loading content into the new CMS at scale. It's a rare chance to see a full migration end-to-end.
  • Help colleagues across marketing, product, and other teams get their content online smoothly and troubleshoot small website issues as they arise.
  • Review pages before and after publishing (links, layout, images, metadata) so what goes live is correct the first time.
  • Gain hands-on experience in how a modern marketing website is planned, built, launched, migrated, and optimized.
  • Work closely with an experienced marketing team in a supportive, creative, and open environment.

Requirements

  • You are studying Marketing, Communications, Media, Web Design, Information Science, or a related field.
  • You have a basic understanding of how websites work and enjoy problem-solving when something doesn't look or behave the way it should.
  • Familiarity with Drupal (or another CMS), HTML/CSS basics, or tools like Figma, Google Analytics, and SEO understanding is a plus. Willingness to learn Drupal quickly is essential.
  • You take pride in getting things right, catching typos, broken links, misaligned images, or inconsistent formatting before they go live.
  • You communicate effectively and confidently in English, both in writing and when collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • You are available for at least 12 months, up to 20 hours/week during the semester and up to 40 hours/week during semester breaks.

What Success Looks Like

  • High-quality pages with zero "day-one" errors, ensuring that links, metadata, and visual assets are perfect before they reach the audience.
  • Smooth website migration through successfully auditing and transitioning high volumes of content into the new CMS on schedule.
  • Consistent support even during the semester, to bridge between marketing requests and live site updates.
  • Gain hands-on experience in how a modern marketing website is planned, built, launched, migrated, and optimized
