CRS is recruiting a MEAL Intern to assist with Country Program (CP) MEAL activities. The MEAL Intern will support the project team in tracking progress against agreed outputs, outcomes, and planned activities, ensuring that monitoring and reporting processes contribute to the effective implementation of projects at CP. The Intern will assist with data collection, data management, reporting, and documentation of project results and lessons learned.
The MEAL Intern will work under the direct supervision of the MEAL Officer and will collaborate closely with MEAL Technical Advisor, and Project Managers to support the implementation of projects monitoring and evaluation framework and related data management systems.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Assisting in designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
Assisting in the development and updating of data collection tools, including digital data collection tools.
Supporting the implementation of data collection activities, including baseline studies, routine monitoring, and other project assessments.
Assisting in conducting Data Quality Assurance (DQA) processes, including verification and validation of field data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
Supporting the documentation of lessons learned and best practices from project implementation activities.
Assisting with preparing reports and presentations on findings.
Assisting in monitoring programme activities.
Assisting with reviewing performance indicators.

General Requirements
CRS offers are contingent on the selected candidate’s ability to legally work where the position is to be performed. Every government has a unique set of work permit eligibility requirements. All positions requiring residence or frequent travel outside a home country must undergo and clear a pre-employment medical clearance; some work permit processes require clearing a separate government administered medical examination.
CRS prioritizes candidates who are citizens/ permanent residents of the countries where we have CRS offices.
