We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Business Operations Intern to support our Security Services (S2) Operations team. This internship provides hands‑on exposure to employee engagement programs, internal communications, and operational process improvement within a fast‑paced, growing organization. 

As an intern, you will assist with day‑to‑day operational activities, help maintain internal systems, and support initiatives focused on efficiency, automation, and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for students or early‑career professionals interested in business operations, HR operations, analytics, or internal programs. 

Key Responsibilities 

Employee Engagement & Recognition 

·       Assist in planning and supporting employee engagement and recognition initiatives. 

·       Help maintain trackers, documentation, and workflows that support ongoing engagement activities. 

·       Support logistics for awards, recognition, and internal programs. 

Career Journey & Employee Lifecycle Support 

·       Assist with onboarding coordination for new hires within the S2 organization. 

·       Support internal promotions, transfers, and hiring documentation. 

·       Help prepare offboarding documentation and ensure required steps are completed. 

Internal Communications 

·       Support the creation and distribution of internal newsletters, announcements, and updates. 

·       Assist with maintaining intranet or internal webpage content. 

·       Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure communications are accurate and timely. 

Operations & Process Improvement 

·       Help maintain operational systems such as employee schedules, the PERKs program, and internal trackers. 

·       Document existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement. 

·       Assist with basic automation efforts using available tools and templates. 

Data & Reporting 

·       Track engagement and operational metrics using spreadsheets or dashboards. 

·       Assist with compiling reports and summaries for leadership and stakeholders. 

·       Support data cleanup, validation, and documentation efforts. 

Governance, Compliance & Standards 

·       Assist with maintaining SOPs, standards documents, and audit checklists. 

·       Support compliance reviews and tracking of required updates. 

·       Help document findings and prepare summaries for leadership review. 

AI & Automation Exposure 

·       Research and explore opportunities to improve workflows using automation or AI tools. 

·       Assist with pilot initiatives focused on efficiency and process optimization. 

·       Learn how emerging technologies are applied in operational environments. 

 

Qualifications 

·       Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Operations, Human Resources, Communications, Analytics, or a related field. 

·       Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. 

·       Clear written and verbal communication skills. 

·       Interest in business operations, employee programs, and process improvement. 

·       Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); exposure to SharePoint is a plus. 

·       Curiosity about automation, analytics, and AI‑enabled tools. 

·       Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a structured environment.
