Summary(What/Why/Coverage)-Main Activities:

Under the general direction of the Project Engineer, the Project Engineering intern supports develop the Project systems and ongoing activities with a focus on cost reduction, efficiency and process flow with a safety mindset. The intern will have hands-on experience in project planning, execution, and support within a dynamic engineering environment. The intern will assist in various phases of engineering projects, gaining exposure to real-world applications of engineering principles and project management.

Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED – Required

Enrolled in a engineering bachelor’s program

Key Responsibilities (What/How):

  •  Support project engineers in planning, scheduling, and executing engineering projects
  •  Support from Low to medium complexity Projects, since detailed planning to execution and final delivery
  •  Assistance on developments, implementations and manufacturing/buildings improvements.
  •  Pilot tests and prototypes to evaluate machine applicability and efficiency.
  •  Assist in preparing technical documentation, reports, and presentation
  •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, process, quality, and maintenance
  • Additional duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

Ability to move around manufacturing floors, construction sites, or project areas, including walking, standing, or climbing stairs/ladders for extended periods

Ability to hear alarms, instructions, and communications in noisy environments

May be required to lift or move objects up to 50 pounds (e.g., tools, equipment, samples) when necessary.
