Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), Monday–Friday (Business Hours)


Overview

International Grains and Cereal is seeking a motivated Production Intern to support operations at our

Greenville facility. This role provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment, with

exposure to manufacturing processes, operational workflows, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The intern will work directly with the Operations Supervisor and production team to support daily

operations and contribute to projects that improve efficiency, quality, and overall performance.


Key Responsibilities


Assist the Operations Supervisor with daily production activities to ensure efficient workflow and

adherence to schedules.

Support and contribute to projects focused on process improvement, waste reduction, and operational

efficiency.

Work closely with production staff and cross-functional teams to complete tasks and meet operational

goals.

Gain hands-on exposure to manufacturing processes by observing and assisting in various roles within

the facility.

Take responsibility for assigned projects, track progress, and deliver results within established timelines,

escalating issues when needed.

Assist in collecting, analyzing, and reporting production data (e.g., output, downtime, and quality

metrics).

Provide general support to the Operations Supervisor and production team as needed.


Minimum Qualifications

Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or related field

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)


Proficient in AI or degree in field

Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment


Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and move within a production environment

Ability to observe processes and perform basic operational tasks

Manual dexterity and effective communication abilities


Preferred Qualifications

Interest in manufacturing, production, or operations management

Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
