WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview): 

Internship opportunity for an undergraduate student or trainee to gain work experience offered by an organization for a limited period of time. Assist in the assessment and development of ARC programs. Conduct research related to the program and recommend processes for greater efficiency. Assist with the creation and/or maintenance of program, plans, and systems. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.

Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State and local regulations.

WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities): 

1: May support units with research projects.

2: Typically analyze data, present facts, and recommend solutions.

3: May create, develop, or maintain databases for various lines of service events or projects.

4: Assist with the development of reports and other informational materials presented to management.

5: Conduct unit-specific responsibilities.

The salary for this position is $17.00 an hour.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications): 

Education: High School or equivalent required. Internship is typically part of an undergraduate program which requires some university credit hours.

Experience: Up to 1 year of related experience.

Management Experience: N/a

Skills & Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Ability to work on a team.

Travel: 1x

* Combination of candidate’s education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description’s minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).

Physical Requirements: Physical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods of time. May include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle, and working under challenging conditions.
