Legal Intern, Legal IP (Shanghai)

• Maintain accurate records of commercial activities involving intellectual property rights (IPRs) – including marketing promotions, merchandise sales – to support enforcement actions and litigation.
• Coordinate requests from the local business teams; provide IP documentation (e.g. trademark certificates, copyright certificates, chain of titles, etc.), and maintain good records.
• Maintain databases for litigation/case files, trademark portfolios, evidence of use for IP in daily commercial activities, and the portfolio of authorized online stores.
• Support the online monitoring and enforcement program coordinate with the local creative team to obtain authentication results.
• Conduct research and analysis on specific legal issues, including online research to locate materials required for trademark prosecution matters.
• Other ad hoc tasks/responsibilities that as assigned by the China legal team.

• 协调、支持本地业务团队的相关需求；提供知识产权性文件（例如商标注册证、著作权登记证、授权链文件等），并妥善保存和维护相关记录.
• 维护和管理包括诉讼/案件档案、商标及著作权权属清单、知识产权商业性使用证据，以及授权线上店铺名录等在内的数据和信息.
• 协助线上监测与投诉、维权行动，并协调本地产品开发团队为维权行动提供鉴定支持.
• 就特定法律问题进行检索与分析，包括通过线上检索以获取支持商标确权案件所需的相关材料.
• 根据中国法务团队的需要，配合、协助完成其他指派的相关工作.

Basic Requirements:

• Undergraduate (3rd or 4th year) or Master graduate (1st or 2nd year) pursuing a law degree
• Available to work at least 3 week days per week at the Shanghai office (ideally 5 days), able to commit to an internship for at least 6 months or longer from late June/early July onwards.
• Excellent business English proficiency (written and spoken) and excellent legal writing skills in both English and Chinese.
• Proficient computer skills in MS Word and MS Powerpoint to facilitate document and record consolidation, collation and tracking,
• Fast learner with strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently.  

Desired Characteristics:

• AI skillsets are advantageous to support with digitalization and document management.
• Passing the PRC bar exam would be an advantage.
• Prior internship experience in MNC or top law firm is an advantage

Upon successful completion of the internship, interns can request a Certificate of Internship from the Company.

• 法律相关专业在读学生：本科三年级或四年级，或硕士一年级或二年级
• 在上海办公室每周至少到岗 3 个工作日（优先考虑 5个工作日），并可自 6 月下旬或 7 月初起连续实习不少于 6 个月（或更长时间）.
• 具备扎实的商务英语听说读写能力，并拥有优秀的中英文法律文书写作能力.
• 熟练使用 Microsoft Word 和 PowerPoint，具备良好的计算机应用能力，能够高效完成文件及记录的整理、汇总、归档和案件进度跟进工作.
• 学习能力强，具备良好的沟通能力和团队协作精神.
• 工作积极主动，具备良好的独立工作能力.  

加分项

• 具备一定的 AI 工具运用技能者优先，以协助推进数字化工作及文件管理流程优化.
• 通过中国法律职业资格考试者优先.
• 具备跨国公司或知名律师事务所实习经验者优先.

实习顺利完成后，实习生可向公司申请实习证明。
