The salary for this role ranges from $20.77 - $34.62 per hour (depending on your year in school).

The Quality Engineering Intern is an integral part of the Power Reliability Division’s Quality team, which is responsible for ensuring that our products and services consistently meet the quality and reliability expectations of our customers. 

With five Eaton facilities and more than 1900 employees located in Wisconsin, Eaton’s local footprint enables our employees with state-of-the-art laboratories and access to manufacturing that allows us to deliver robust solutions to our utility, commercial and industrial customers.   

 
In this role you will: 
•    Develop a centralized Quality reporting portal using Power BI (or similar tools), gaining hands-on experience with data visualization and dashboard design.
•    Organize and update critical Quality process documentation and convert it into easy-to-use training modules, building knowledge in:
•    Management of Change
•    MRB management (Material Review Board)
•    Internal & external quality escalation protocols
•    1-Pager updates
•    A3 problem solving tools
•    Production Hold processes
•    Validate Eaton and supplier specifications to ensure correct revisions and CTQs  (Critical to Quality ) are in use, strengthening technical understanding, document control skills, and supplier quality awareness.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:  
•    Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Engineering at an accredited institution with a graduation date no earlier than December 2026.   
•    Minimum GPA of 2.8 or above.
•    Relocation is provided for this role. Candidate's must be able to work at our South Milwaukee, WI site for the duration of the internship. 
•    Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.
 
Preferred Qualifications 
•    Prior internship or co-op experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
•    Minimum GPA of 3.2 or above.
