The DevTools Team builds and hosts internal platforms that help thousands of Grab engineers measure, monitor, and improve how they build software. Our flagship product, Engineering 360, is Grab's unified metrics platform — the single place where engineering leaders and individual engineers track productivity, code quality, system stability, and DORA signals across the company.

Get to Know the Role

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer Intern to work closely with our development team on building and maintaining Engineering 360 and related internal platforms. As part of this role, you will be exposed to both front-end and back-end development. Our tech stack includes React and JavaScript/TypeScript in Front-end, and Golang on the Backend. Apart from this, you will also be exposed to managing and building data streams and pipelines that power engineering metrics across Grab.

This is a fully onsite role, that will be based in our office at Petaling Jaya

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will work with the development team to build and maintain our internal engineering platforms.
• You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. We follow an agile methodology with a 2-week Sprint.
• You will write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• You will troubleshoot and debug web applications and data pipelines.
• You will participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Available to start in August 2026
• Undergraduate in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• Proficient in any front-end development using language such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with any front-end Frameworks, preferably ReactJS.
• Proficient in at least one of the back-end languages like Python, Golang, Java, or C++.
• Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
