Major Tasks and Responsibilities

Use Case Nurturing & Development Support:

• Assist in identifying, researching, and documenting potential AI use cases across different business units

• Support the evaluation and prioritization of AI opportunities in collaboration with business stakeholders

• Contribute to translating business challenges into actionable AI application concepts

Workshop Organization & Support:

• Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating AI awareness and training workshops

• Support the preparation of workshop materials, presentations, and documentation

• Help facilitate workshop sessions and capture key insights and feedback

• Coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person AI events and training sessions

Data Analysis & Documentation:

• Support data collection and analysis for AI use case impact assessment

• Assist in creating and maintaining documentation repository for AI initiatives

• Help analyze user feedback and adoption metrics for AI solutions

• Support the preparation of progress reports and dashboards

Communication & Engagement Support:

• Assist in developing communication materials for AI transformation initiatives

• Support internal communication campaigns to promote AI awareness

• Help maintain knowledge sharing platforms and communities of practice

Market Research & Analysis:

• Conduct market research on AI trends, technologies, and best practices relevant to Covestro's industry

• Analyze competitor AI initiatives and benchmark against industry standards

• Research emerging AI tools, platforms, and solution providers

• Compile research findings into comprehensive reports and presentations

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed Master's degree in artificial intelligence, computer science, business administration, innovation management, technology management or organizational development in a prestigious university

• 0-2 years of relevant experience or strong academic background in AI, data analysis, or business process improvement

• Understanding of Large Language Models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation and other AI technologies, knowledge about applying these technologies to solve complex problems and improve business processes is preferred.

• Experience with presentation software (PowerPoint, Google Slides) and documentation tools

• Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills with ability to interact with stakeholders at various organizational levels

• Proactive and self-motivated with ability to work independently and in virtual teams

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Curiosity about AI technologies and their business applications

• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Fluent in Chinese and English (written and spoken)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Python, R, or similar)

• Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) is a plus

• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is beneficial

Duration & Development Opportunities

• At least 6 months internship program, longer term is preferred

• Expected to work at least 4 days a week on site (5 days is preferred)
