About the Role

[What the role is]

Intern, Survey & Geomatics

[What you will be working on]

  • Assist in reviewing cadastral survey submissions.
  • Assist in reviewing of topographic, GFA and measured survey submissions.
  • Participate in field survey activities (e.g. GNSS observations, total station measurements)
  • Assist in processing of GNSS data
  • Support the updating, and maintenance of national mapping datasets through data extraction, editing, and validation from aerial and satellite imagery. Responsibilities include assisting in map compilation, cartographic generalisation, and the production of both 2D and 3D geospatial products.
  • Assist in satellite remote sensing processing and analysis, and GEOAI research.

[What we are looking for]

  • Currently pursuing Civil Engineering or Geomatics, Surveying, Geospatial Science, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of surveying principles, GIS, or remote sensing
  • Familiarity with software such as ArcGIS/QGIS, AutoCAD, or similar tools is an advantage
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Optional: Exposure to GNSS data processing or LiDAR datasets, basic programming or scripting (e.g. Python) for geospatial analysis
