Job Description

Bosch Engineering Center Cluj is offering scholarships of 2000 RON/month over the year for enthusiastic Doctoral students with outstanding academic results. Students granted with scholarships have the possibility to work  together with Bosch experts in Software and Hardware fields.

The themes we are proposing to be approached together on Software area:

  • Advanced neural network entrainment strategies for autonomous systems / Strategii avansate de antrenare a rețelelor neuronale pentru sisteme autonome.
  • Optimization of neural networks for encapsulated systems / Optimizarea rețelelor neuronale pentru sisteme incapsulate.
  • E2E artificial intelligence for autonomous systems / Inteligenta artificiala E2E pentru sisteme autonome.

The themes we are proposing to be approached together on Hardware area:

  • Optimizing the placement of components on the PCB using artificial intelligence, taking into account factors as: thermal, mechanical ang EMC interferences / Optimizarea plasării componentelor pe PCB folosind inteligența artificială din perspectiva: termica, mecanica și interferente EMC.
  • Integration of electronics into mechanical components by advanced manufacturing technologies. Developing dedicated systems for specific automotive functions, focused on innovation in production / Integrarea electronicii în componente mecanice prin tehnologii avansate de fabricație. Dezvoltarea de sisteme dedicate pentru funcții auto specifice, axate pe inovare în producție

Qualifications

  • Student in a full-time doctoral program.
  • Year of study: 2nd, 3rd
  • Having the annual doctoral studies conditions met: articles, conference, etc.
  • Attending to one of the following research domains: Computers and Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications and Information Technologies, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.

Selection

  • The subject of doctoral thesis must be in line with one of the 5 topics proposed.
