THE INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an intern for our Category Growth & Strategy Department. During your internship, you will report to our Senior Category Manager.

Our category team exists to help drive strategic direction, identify growth opportunities and define portfolio ideals to outpace the category . We are looking for an intern who will support the Category Strategy team in creating understanding  in market dynamics, portfolio strategy of the global players and key category trends, as well as day to day administrative tasks:

 

  • Help identifying and understanding key competitor initiatives globally, on innovation, (social) activation and communication
  • Support in creating newsletters leveraging learning from competitive initiatives, translating them to actionable insights
  • Help translate findings from internal and external data into clear presentations and strategic recommendations
  • Support with sourcing and maintaining key samples available from the global portfolio and competition as well as inbound and outbound samples management.
  • Help in the exchange with various markets around the world in relation to ongoing activities, NPD projects and communications.
  • Support with various activities around communications and competitive activity in different markets.  
  • Assist the Category team with overall administrative duties. 

OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE

  • You are looking for a ‘Meewerkstage’ (work-internship) for at least 20 weeks at a Dutch HBO/University
  • You are currently enrolled in a study, in the Netherland, in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Economic or related fields and you are looking for an internship of at least 20 weeks 
  • You are available for a 32/ 40 hour per week internship of 5 – 6 months, starting in September 2026 in our office in Amsterdam Schiphol
  • You have strong English skills as this is the main language in our business
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with colleagues across countries and functions.
  • You are eager and proactive: you approach people easily, are eager to pick up work and new projects for your development and you are not afraid to ask for help when needed
