About The Company
Greenlyte | Liquefying renewable energy Greenlyte revolutionizes the energy infrastructure by turning renewable electricity, air and water into green molecules needed for the scaled production of synthetic fuels. Our patented system captures carbon and co-produces hydrogen in one process - providing the key feedstock layer for scalable e-fuel production. We call this platform LiquidSolar™: storing renewable energy in the form of carbon-neutral fuels such as e-Methanol and Sustainable Aviation Fuel. By co-producing carbon and hydrogen efficiently, our process drives costs down to a level where e-fuels can compete with – and ultimately undercut – fossil alternatives. This unlocks real economic viability for decarbonizing hard-to-abate sectors like aviation, shipping, and critical infrastructure, while ensuring long-term energy security. Founded in 2022, Greenlyte has grown into a 70+ person team combining deep technical expertise with entrepreneurial drive. We’ve filed 10+ patent families, secured €55M+ in funding from leading climate-tech investors and grants, and are working with strong partners across industry and research to deliver our first commercial plants. About the Role

Let’s build the fossil-free future

At Greenlyte, we are reshaping the global fuel economy with our novel, IP-protected, direct air capture to fuels technology, where we capture CO2 from the atmosphere and produce hydrogen. Our process shows superior economic potential compared to existing approaches, even reaching fossil prices. Backed by leading European VCs and with commercial agreement from Lufthansa and MB Energy, we are deploying our first commercial facilities to prove commercial viability in the next 12 months.

Where Ambition Meets Purpose

Most internships hand you a ticket to watch from the sidelines. This one puts you on the field, inside a startup that is building the physical infrastructure of the energy transition. We are not waiting for change. We are building it together. We will help prevent a climate crisis by freeing the world from fossil fuels. At Greenlyte, speed and collaboration define how we work. Our culture rewards initiative, learning, and teamwork. If you want to grow fast, take ownership, and shape real impact, this is the place to do it.

How you'll contribute

You will grow into the logistics and inventory operations that keep our hardware moving, from incoming parts inspection to shipping our modular DAC plants out into the world. This is a hands-on role where structure, curiosity, and initiative matter more than years of experience.
Own it from the start

  • Receive, inspect, and catalog incoming materials (parts, hardware, components) and make sure everything we have is accurately tracked
  • Set up our internal labeling system and physical storage layout from scratch
  • Operate label printers and scanners to build traceability into our warehouse
  • Identify discrepancies, flag issues proactively, and propose fixes rather than just reporting problem
Build the system
  • Develop and improve our inventory management tools (manufacturing execution system)
  • Introduce KPIs like stock accuracy and receiving lead times, and take full ownership of them
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing on a scalable warehouse structure
  • Help design the shipping processes for our modular plants as we scale deployment
Leave something behind
  • Contribute to a digital inventory management solution that will outlast your internship
  • Train colleagues on material handling standards and logistics tools you helped define
  • Write monthly reports on logistics performance and inventory movement trends

About you

You do not need a decade of warehouse experience. You need someone who gets things done without waiting for a perfect plan.
You bring

  • Some hands-on experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory, or a related field. Could be from a student job, a previous internship, or a practical project
  • A structured mind and sharp attention to detail. You notice when the part number is wrong before anyone else does
  • The ability to work across teams: engineers, supply chain managers, operations leads. You translate between them naturally
  • Good written and spoken English
Bonus points for
  • Familiarity with PLM or ERP/MES systems in a supply chain context
  • Experience with international shipping or customs procedures
  • German language skills
  • Knowledge of non-conformance checks and quality control processes

What we offer

  • 20 days vacation plus public holidays to ensure you also have the down time needed to rest and recharge.
  • The possibility to grow and shape your role.
  • Working with founders who understand - and invest time in - the importance of building a healthy and sustainable organization.
  • Open and transparent communication on company development.
  • Internship duration is flexible and we work with your academic schedule. Please include your availability and preferred start date in your application.

Noteworthy points

Why this internship is different

  • You will own real deliverables, not support tasks. If you build the labeling system, it is yours
  • You will work directly with engineers and supply chain managers, not just within a siloed logistics team
  • The company is small enough that your work is visible, and large enough that what you build actually matters
  • You will leave with a concrete portfolio of systems, processes, and tools you created from the ground up
