Position Summary/Job Duties: | For students with an interest in marketing, data analysis, business, or related fields and a curiosity about how organizations build and sustain member relationships.
Position Summary The Membership Intern supports the Wisconsin Union in advancing a comprehensive member engagement strategy that spans acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and stewardship. This role contributes to building meaningful, lifelong connections between members, alumni, and the Union. Working closely with the Member and Alumni Experience team, the intern will assist with membership communications, data tracking, and event execution—helping translate strategy into action across key touchpoints in the member journey. This internship offers hands-on experience in membership strategy within a large, mission-driven organization, with exposure to cross-functional collaboration across marketing, programming, and advancement.

Relevant Work Experience:
Student Status To be eligible for the Wisconsin Union positions, you must be currently enrolled in a college, university, or highschool (at least 16). It is not permissible to hire a person as a student hourly employee if they are taking credits merely to be eligible for student hourly employment. Review UW Policy 5003- Student Hourly Employment for more information. If school is in break period (summer, spring, winter), applicants must intend to enroll in courses the following semester.
