About the Role

Essential duties and Responsibilities:
• Work side-by-side with QA technician to learn daily warehouse procedures
• Inspect incoming products of all proteins for wholesomeness, quality and specification compliance.
• Develop product specifications or review existing product specs
• Review and update product data in the company’s database
• Review and update product Harmonize Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes in company’s database
• Other duties as required

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Active food science or culinary student – Junior/Senior preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Computer skills – Microsoft Office
• Bilingual: English and Spanish preferred
