Revue Studios is an independent film and tv studio specializing in comedy, music, pop culture and sports. Revue’s Non-Fiction arm is actively developing a robust pipeline of feature documentaries, docuseries, formatted series, game shows, competition formats, and reality-based concepts and is looking for a Creative Development Intern to join us for the summer! Revue Studios is based in the Los Angeles The Team office. We are open to candidates that are out of state and would have a fully remote schedule, if the chosen candidate is local to Los Angeles and would like to have a hybrid schedule that can also be accommodated. 

Internship Overview

We are seeking a Creative Development Intern with a passion for storytelling and a strong interest in the documentary and unscripted television space. This internship is ideal for students majoring or minoring in Journalism, Creative Writing, or related fields who are eager to apply their writing skills in a professional creative environment. Major plus if you are a consumer of non-fiction content. 

The intern will support the development team by researching, writing, and helping shape original non-fiction concepts across film and television. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to real projects while learning how ideas evolve from early concepts into compelling pitch materials.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct research on a wide range of topics, talent, and cultural trends to support development
  • Write and refine loglines, series overviews, and creative materials for documentary and unscripted projects
  • Assist in brainstorming original series and film concepts with a clear creative point of view
  • Help develop pitch documents, one-sheets, and presentation materials
  • Track and analyze current trends in the non-fiction and streaming landscape
  • Experience in Canva or other deck design software

Internship Program Details:

  • Must be able to earn college credit for an internship
  • Runs from June 9, 2026 – August 14, 2026
  • Time commitment expectation of 20+ hours per week 
  • Option to work out of our Los Angeles based office if local, but open to remote candidates as well
