This intern position is located at Keysight's corporate headquarters in Santa Rosa, CA, in the heart of California’s beautiful wine country.  Sonoma County has a rich array of local outdoor and cultural activities and ready access to the mountains, the coast, or the city.  No matter your passion, it’s a great place to live and work. It is also the home of the Technology Order Fulfillment (TOF) U.S Operations’ New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineering teams.

 

Our NPI teams are multi-disciplinary, involving electrical, software, and mechanical engineers. As a NPI hardware intern, you will apply your Electrical Engineering skills to a variety of focused hands-on projects! You will be part of a product development team that collaborates closely with cross functional teams to design, develop, and test our handheld analyzers. Responsibilities


 

There is a variety of responsibilities you may be assigned, including: 

  • Develop test software for test automation, measurement, and data collection
  • Manage instrument hardware and the measurement, characterization, and calibration processes used during the NPI development phase and into production
  • Create technical documentation 
  • Provide engineering support for high frequency measurements
  • Use statistics to analyze data and processes
  • Work on continuous project improvement (CPI) for current production products

Qualifications


CA Pay Range: USD $32.03-$34.49/ hr

  • Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Strong technical writing capability and solid communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills, commitment to task, creativity in problem solving
  • Work collaboratively to solve difficult technical problems and ability to work independently to deliver results with little direct supervision
  • Ability to deliver results under schedule pressure
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment across multiple production areas
  • Knowledge of MS Office skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
