About the Role

Your next role as a Miracle Maker 

Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our Operations team as an Operations Intern. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience across multiple operational workflows, including Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Order Fulfillment, with additional exposure to MSAT, Facilities, and Engineering.

This internship is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of operational processes, automation systems, and continuous improvement methodologies within a manufacturing environment.

How you will make an impact: 

  • Rotate through key operational areas including Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Order Fulfillment
  • Learn end-to-end workflows, including inputs, processes, outputs, and system purpose
  • Develop an understanding of quality standards, specifications, and process nuances
  • Gain hands-on exposure to automated manufacturing equipment, including operation, safety, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) projects using A3 methodology:
    • Problem definition
    • Root cause analysis
    • Solution implementation
    • Validation and lessons learned
  • Initiate and execute CI projects aimed at improving quality and/or productivity
  • Present progress and findings to stakeholders at key project milestones
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and learn from subject matter experts
  • Perform other functions and duties as required 

 The skills and experience that you will bring: 

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Interest in manufacturing operations and process improvement
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly
  • Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on, operational environment
