We are seeking a Software Development Intern join our Embedded Software team to advance of our System Engineering solutions, with a focus on warehouse automation technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver innovative station systems, including Bring-to-Light Shelving and Scan-and-Print systems. 

Responsibilities 

  • Participate in the development, testing, and maintenance of embedded software solutions using C#. 

  • Collaborate to translate requirements into technical solutions. 

  • Write clean, efficient, and scalable code, along with comprehensive tests to ensure reliability and performance. 

  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. 

  • Contribute to troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing the system. 

  • Support the deployment of software updates and maintain system performance. 

  • The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders. 

Qualifications 

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. 

  • Proficient in C#. 

  • Experience working with Embedded Linux platforms. 

  • Logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem-solving 

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
