How We Work

This is an onsite role in our Prague office, as part of a full-time, 10‑week summer internship (starting 1 July). You’ll work in person with the Freemium Growth and CSM teams, collaborating day‑to‑day with product, marketing, data and operations colleagues. You’ll have the opportunity to continue part‑time after the internship, subject to performance and business need.

About the Role:

As an AI Operations Intern in the Freemium Growth team within CSM in Prague, you’ll help apply AI in real business environments at scale. Gen’s freemium products (Avast, AVG, Avira, CCleaner) bring users in for free, then convert the right customers to paid subscriptions – and AI is at the centre of how we want to work going forward.

This internship is ideal for a technically curious, hands‑on student who has already experimented with AI tools or agents and wants to turn that experience into real impact. You’ll help automate workflows, accelerate experimentation and unlock new ways of working across multiple teams, shaping how AI is embedded into our freemium growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AI‑powered workflows to automate repetitive operational tasks.

• Build and experiment with AI agents and tools to improve productivity across teams.

• Support scalable experimentation (e.g. content testing, operations improvements, growth initiatives).

• Collaborate with stakeholders across product, marketing, CSM and operations.

• Identify opportunities where AI can reduce manual work and increase speed.

• Help shape how AI is used in a fast‑growing freemium business environment.

About you:

Education:

• Active student or very recent graduate in a technical or analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Economics or similar).

Experience:

• Hands‑on experience with AI tools, LLMs or AI agents (e.g. OpenAI, Claude, LangChain, automation tools, etc.).

• Some exposure to scripting or automation is a plus (e.g. Python, JavaScript or no‑code/low‑code tools).

Skills:

• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to turn ideas into working solutions.

• Interest in automation, workflows and scaling systems.

• Clear communicator who can explain ideas simply and work well with engineers, product, marketing and CSM colleagues.

• Proactive attitude – you don’t wait for detailed instructions; you explore, test and build.

• Nice to have:

  • Experience with scripting (Python, JavaScript) or no‑code/low‑code automation tools.

  • Familiarity with APIs, data workflows or prompt engineering.

  • Previous project(s) where you built or used AI in a practical way (university, hackathon, side projects, freelance, etc.).

Compensation

Hourly rate: 250 CZK gross per hour
