Name of the Project: HR Evolution Intern
Vice Presidency: Digital & Organization Development

Intern’s Location (Office): Margain Offices

Schedule Availability: Between 25 and 30 hours per week
Period of Stay at CEMEX: 6 months, with the option of renewal

Detailed Description of the Project
Project Objective
Challenges for the Students
- Working in a complex, global environment with multiple stakeholders, countries, and dependencies
- Managing and prioritizing activities across multiple HR initiatives and backlogs
- Understanding HR processes and platforms while supporting both operational and strategic topics
- Following up on activities where information comes from different sources, teams, and vendors
- Developing autonomy in tracking progress, identifying risks, and escalating issues when needed
- Adapting to evolving priorities typical of digital transformation programs.
Main Responsibilities and Activities to Be Carried Out
Cross‑Initiatives
- Follow up on action items and pending tasks derived from committees, checkpoints, and recurring meetings.
- Track HR technology experiments and pilots (e.g., Pendo), consolidating status and outcomes.
HR Evolution / HR Techlab
- Maintain and update the HR Techlab backlog (ideas, quick wins, discarded items)
- Follow up on automation requests with vendors (e.g., access management, mailbox creation, technical enablement).
Digital Transformation & AI
- Support global HR AI initiatives and strategy execution
- Assist in coordination, tracking, and documentation of AI‑related HR initiatives and pilots
SuccessFactors (SSFF)
- Update and maintain the 2026 SuccessFactors roadmap
- Support OHR and Support teams in tracking release catch‑up activities and system deprecations
- Update and monitor the Phase 2 backlog, ensuring proper follow‑up and visibility
Back Office HR
- Support monthly review of vendor consumption by country versus headcount (Compensation & Benefits context)
- Assist with information consolidation for upcoming RFP HR Backoffice processes (e.g., contracts, documentation readiness)
Consult HR (AI Conversational Agent)
- Follow up on backlog related to error reporting and productive testing
- Support transformation of Consult HR services into Self‑Service (Consult HR Central)
- Support the evolution and expansion of the Helpdesk model (backlog management, scope expansion, improvement initiatives)
Specific Requirements / Qualifications
- Strong interest in digital transformation (e.g. Artificial Intelligence), HR technology, and process optimization.
- Good analytical skills to track initiatives, identify gaps, and organize information.
- Comfortable working with Excel and digital collaboration tools (SharePoint, Teams, Power BI is a plus).
- Strong organization and follow‑up skills
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn.
- Comfortable working in a global, multicultural environment.
- Good English skills (written and spoken).
