Position Objective

 

Reporting to the Director of the Digital Sustainability program, you will contribute to the measurement, reduction, and optimization of the environmental impact of digital technologies within the AXA Group by participating in innovative projects related to digital sustainability, including data collection, greenhouse gas emissions assessment, and the integration of eco-responsible solutions.

 

Mission Description

 

As Digital Sustainability Impact Analyst, you will contribute to:

  • Deploying the global environmental data collection campaign to measure AXA Group’s digital footprint (workstations, data centers, etc.)
  • Supporting the development of greenhouse gas emissions measurement tools and contributing to their improvement
  • Estimating the environmental impact of digital technologies by 2030, including the energy impact of artificial intelligence (LLM, chatbots)
  • Identifying and supporting the implementation of levers to reduce the environmental impact of information systems (cloud computing, AI, online software)
  • Deploying the digital sustainability program at a global scale, providing expertise and support to subsidiaries in various regions (Europe, Asia, Americas, Africa)
  • Facilitating the international “Digital Sustainability” community to share best practices and promote eco-responsible solutions
  • Raising awareness and training teams, particularly IT departments, on digital sustainability challenges and concrete actions to be implemented

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

Education: Master’s degree (BAC +5) from an engineering school or university, specialization in IT, environmental impact of digital technologies, or similar field

 

Languages:

  • Fluent French mandatory
  • English C1+ or fluent mandatory

Behavioral skills:

  • Strong environmental awareness and genuine interest in sustainability.
  • Ability to work in a team within an international and multicultural environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Rigor, autonomy, ability to coordinate multiple activities and stakeholders.
  • Motivation to be involved in a committed and dynamic team.

Technical skills:

  • Good knowledge of IT in general (architecture, data management, analysis).
  • Familiarity with carbon footprint assessment, enterprise architecture (TOGAF, Archimate), data management (DMBOK), and data analysis are a plus.

IT Tools:

  • Microsoft Office 365 (especially Excel).
  • Knowledge of data management or analysis tools would be an asset.
