About the Role

Forklift Operator

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the main activities related to this position include:

  • Work in collaboration with the Shipping Coordinator

  • Load and unload trucks using a forklift

  • Enter data into the computer and update various reports

  • Transport finished products from the plant to the warehouse as needed

  • Create and maintain an inventory of all products shipped to the warehouse

  • Fill in for certain positions during vacation or absences

  • Re-sample production bags when necessary

  • Conduct health and safety walkthroughs at the end of each month

  • Apply health, safety, and environmental rules within the department

  • Perform any other tasks as required and within the scope of competence

Qualifications:

  • Possess a high school diploma

  • Hold a Class 1 driver’s license

  • Bilingualism is an asset

Required Skills:

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Required Experience:

  • 1 year of experience in warehouse support would be an asset
