About the Role

Description:

SPS Commerce is a leading provider of cloud-based supply chain management solutions, serving a global network of retail trading partners. We foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment where innovation and continuous improvement are highly valued. Join SPS Commerce and be part of a dynamic team that's transforming the global retail supply chain!

Position Summary:

As a Software Engineering Intern at SPS Commerce, you’ll work alongside a collaborative engineering team to design, build, and deliver real software that ships to production. You won’t be assigned isolated “intern projects.” Instead, you’ll contribute directly to the same work as full-time engineers, gaining meaningful, hands-on experience while helping deliver features and improvements that impact customers.

In this role, you will partner closely with your team to understand requirements, design thoughtful solutions, and write high-quality code. You will participate in daily Scrum ceremonies to share progress, align on priorities, and plan your work. Throughout the term, you will develop, deploy, and verify your own code in production environments, embracing a DevOps mindset with ownership across the full lifecycle—from design through delivery and support. Along the way, you’ll gain exposure to the full technology stack, modern cloud-based tools, and engineering best practices that help you grow into a well-rounded developer.

We’re looking for someone who is curious, eager to learn, and excited to collaborate. You should be comfortable working in a team environment, open to feedback, and motivated to contribute ideas and explore new technologies. This is a great opportunity for students pursuing Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field who want practical experience building and shipping real software in a professional environment.

If you’re looking for a role where you can make an impact, learn quickly, and work on meaningful problems every day, you won’t be bored here.

Location:

This role is open to remote locations in Canada.
