About the Role

We are seeking energetic, responsible interns to join our organization. Learn more about what opportunities are waiting for you at our various properties.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for performing one or more jobs within the following departments: Hotel Operations, Marketing and Promotions, Information Technology, Human Resources and Finance.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:

Depending on the assignment:

  • Provides office support for various departments (i.e. computer skills, keyboard, filing and answering phones)
  • Registers guests in the hotel, creates rooms reservations and assists with the preparation and arrival of overnight bus groups
  • Installs IT equipment and works closely with the networking team
  • Tests programs and databases, corrects errors and makes necessary modifications
  • Works with the employee events teams, assisting with the planning and logistics for employee events, contests and other employee activities
  • Participates in special projects or promotions involving research, implementation and reporting
  • Enrolls guests in the Momentum program and explains current promotions
  • Works closely with department supervisors and managers to assist with daily activities

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Job shadows other areas of the department during downtime
  • Participates in team meetings and provides feedback
  • Responds to staff and manager inquiries in a timely manner

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Enrollment in or a recent graduate of an accredited college or university and majoring or minoring in a department related field
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English
  • Other skills may be needed for specific jobs assignments (i.e. basic math and computer skills)

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking skills

Training Requirements:

  • Varies depending on job assignment

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • May be working in an office work environment
  • May be required to sit in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time
  • May be required to work on the casino floor with smoke, loud noises and low lighting
  • May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • May be required to stand or walk for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
