Stratolaunch is a technology accelerator that engineers operationally realistic testing at Mach 5+. Our air-launched, Talon testbeds are reusable, cost-effective platforms that enable routine access to the hypersonic environment. We deliver flight data critical to validating system performance and achieving rapid technology deployment. Job summary: 

Stratolaunch is seeking a detail-orientated and driven Supply Chain Intern to support our operations team. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, with exposure to procurement, aircraft parts logistics, inventory control, and vendor coordination critical to maintaining operational readiness. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with inventory tracking, cycle counts, and reconciliation of aircraft parts and materials. 
  • Support shipping and receiving activities, ensuring proper handling and documentation of components.  
  • Verify part numbers, traceability documents, and compliance with industry standards.  
  • Review and process purchase requisitions into purchase orders. 
  • Manage end-to-end PO lifecycle including placement, acknowledgment, and closeout. 
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to track delivery status and resolve delays. 
  • Support supplier performance by escalating issues and coordinating corrective actions. 
  • Help maintain arcuate records in Deltek Costpoint and ensure data integrity. 
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within supply chain processes. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Logistics, or related field. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. 
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. 
  • Eagerness to learn and take initiative.  

Base salary and leveling are established on a case-by-case basis. We consider several factors to ensure a competitive offer, including your location, educational background, and a comprehensive assessment of the skills and experience demonstrated during your interviews.
