This internship offers hands-on exposure to international and commercial banking operations while participating in administrative, customer-facing, and project-based activities that directly support the team. Upon completion of the intern program, there is potential to be considered for a full-time or project-based opportunity, depending on business needs and performance.

Growth in Competence and Knowledge
• This intern position provides participants exposure to international, commercial, and operational banking functions.
• Interns will be required to successfully complete all assigned coursework and training within the allotted timeframe.
• Progress will be monitored through performance on assigned tasks by the intern manager, collaborative coaches, senior management, and the intern program director.
• Interns will be assigned to an intern manager and will gain exposure to multiple departments within the bank.
• Interns will collaborate with teammates and management on projects aligned with the bank’s goals, with structured on-the-job learning provided.
• Interns will participate in team meetings, trainings, and presentations as available.
• Interns will complete a structured 12-week curriculum with defined milestones.

The Role
The successful candidate will gain exposure to international banking operations and perform the following duties:
Administrative & Operational Support
• Provide administrative assistance to international banking teammates as needed.
• Assist with maintaining and organizing customer files and documentation.
• Support internal processes related to compliance, documentation, and client onboarding.
Customer Interaction & Documentation
• Contact customers to request, follow up on, or update information and banking documentation.
• Assist with requests for completion or renewal of W-8 forms and other required bank forms.
• Communicate professionally with customers to clarify requirements and timelines.
Account Services
• Support the opening of new personal and commercial accounts, including gathering required documentation and assisting with internal reviews.
• Assist in verifying wire transfer instructions with customers following bank procedures.
Projects & Special Assignments
• Participate in special projects and additional assignments as directed by management.
• Support process improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects when needed.

Are You a Fit?
• Minimum of 2 years of college education in Business, Finance, International Business, or a related field.
• Seeking current students or recent graduates.
• Strong team player with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• High level of professionalism and discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable interacting with teammates, customers, and members of management.
• Fluent in Spanish.
