Introduction
You will join the CIO Office, where teams strengthen IT governance and Risk & Compliance across the organization. The CIO Office works closely with operational IT teams to manage risk, security, and compliance in a structured way. This Business Administration | Computer Science internship: IT control framework supports the implementation of a company-wide IT control framework and management reporting on Risk & Compliance. Through this internship, you contribute to reliable and secure technology operations that help ASML in it's growth ambitions. The Business Administration | Computer Science internship: Supporting the IT control framework implementation offers insight into governance and organizational dynamics within a global high‑tech environment.
Your assignment
During this internship, you will support the CIO Office with implementing and embedding an IT control framework and deliver critical management reporting. You will work with project members and IT stakeholders to track progress, support training activities, and ensure reporting quality. The internship combines analytical work with coordination and communication. You will gain practical experience in IT compliance, structured project support and learn how to navigate a diverse stakeholder landscape.
Your main responsibilities will be
Collecting, registering, and preparing control evidence for review
Following up on mitigation actions and checking formal completion
Supporting the creation and delivery of e‑trainings
Setting up training schedules and coordinating training sessions
Helping develop and maintain training materials and content
Supporting project, risk, and security reporting activities
Gathering data from source systems and checking completeness and accuracy
This is a non‑thesis internship with a duration of minimum 5 months, starting in early August 2026.
Your profile
To be suitable for the internship, you:
Are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field
Communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written
Are self starting, pro-active and have 'Can Do' mentality
Have an interest in IT compliance, risk management, and governance topics
Work in a structured and organized way and pay attention to detail
Collaborate effectively in an international and dynamic environment
Other requirements you need to meet:
You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;
You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
