About the Role

Description

Do you want to see how a multi-million dollar manufacturing engine actually runs? At CDI, we are the nation’s fastest manufacturer in the HVAC industry because we live by five core values: FAST, EASY, FUN, COMMUNITY, and GROWTH.

We don't just sell products; we solve problems at lightning speed. We are looking for a Sales Support Intern who is obsessed with the "win," loves keeping things organized, and wants to be the backbone of our regional sales team. If you have a "can-do" attitude, you’ll fit right in—most of our leadership team started in roles just like this one!

You’ll be working directly with our Regional Sales Reps, the production floor, and our customers to make sure everything runs like a well-oiled machine.

What You’ll Actually Do:

The Engine Room: Process and manage incoming customer orders. Accuracy is your superpower—you ensure pricing and delivery specs are perfect every time.

Client Champion: You’re the primary contact for regional customers. Whether they need an order status or a shipping update, you’re the "Day Maker" who gets them the answer.

The Strategist: Generate, track, and follow up on sales quotes and proposals.

Business Ops: Prepare technical submittals, manage sales correspondence, and compile weekly performance metrics to see how we’re crushing our targets.

Requirements

Communication Pro: You have excellent verbal and written skills and a professional, patient demeanor.

Organization Ninja: You can juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.

The Vibe: You naturally embody our values—you’re FAST to respond, you don't over-complicate things (EASY), and you’re a FUN person to be around.

Bonus Points:

You’re a Business, Marketing, or Communications major.

You have 1–2 years of experience in retail, customer service, or an office setting.

You have a basic interest in how things are made (Manufacturing/Construction).
