CMT Lab Technician Intern – Part time


JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Learn and perform soil and concrete laboratory testing. Learn from and assist the Laboratory Team and work closely with the CMT Field Technicians.

SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE – This Role:

Perform concrete and laboratory testing:

  • Ensure all lab work (soils, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, etc.) is completed within test specific completion goals.
  • Meet specific requests of engineers and other managers to meet clients’ needs
  • Maintain general lab cleanliness/care
  • Maintain a trust/positive relationship with the techs that you can help them be successful in providing appropriately timely results
  • Build understanding of why and when certain tests are performed
  • Assistance in how to track their equipment calibrations, and how to perform basic checks

Qualifications: Must be a currently enrolled student in construction management.

Job Type: Part-time, Monday through Friday. Hours are flexible and may vary based on workload and academic schedule, open to weekends, as needed.

Salary: DOE

Physical ability of lifting, carrying, and loading of up to 75 pounds daily, required.
