IT Summer-Intern

We need an intern to work 40 hrs per week for 3 months in our Denton facility developing software for our Manufacturing facility. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION

Job Overview 
 We are seeking a talented and motivated future Software Developer to join our team at our Gallatin, TN facility.   The ideal candidate will have a basic background in software development and a passion for creating innovative applications. You will work closely with senior team members to design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires entry level knowledge in development technologies and frameworks, as well as a basic understanding of IT infrastructure. Exposure to a manufacturing environment would be a plus but not required.  

 Expectations:

• Coding and Development: Write, test, and maintain code under the guidance of senior developers, adhering to established coding standards.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging: Assist in troubleshooting and debugging software issues to improve functionality.
• Documentation: Contribute to software documentation, including technical specifications and user guides.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Support testing and quality assurance processes to ensure reliable software delivery.
• Production Support: Assist in resolving production issues and supporting deployed software.
• IoT/PLC: Will be involved in the development or maintenance of systems that monitor and control manufacturing equipment.
• Infor ERP: Contribute to the development or customization of systems used within our Infor ERP System.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Programming Languages: Familiarity with relevant programming languages (e.g., C#, HTML, ASP, MVC Pattern, jQuery, JavaScript, SQL, Entity Framework).
• Database Knowledge: Understanding of relational SQL databases and familiar with stored procedure usage and development.  SSIS and SSRS development experience is a bonus.
