About The Company
Build an intelligent data infrastructure with NetApp that brings it all together — a smarter way to let data thrive. Any application, any data, anywhere.
About the Role

Job Summary

We are building the next generation of cyber resilience tools to help NetApp customers defend against and quickly recover from a cyber-attack.

Cyber-attacks continue to grow and increasingly use AI to get more sophisticated. Driving cyber resilience across our customer’s data estate with a focus on fast clean recovery is paramount to reduce the impact of an attack on business operation. The Cyber Resilience team within NetApp is solving for these challenges at scale.

This team operates at the intersection of engineering, strategy, and customer impact. You will gain exposure to real enterprise systems, collaborate directly with engineers and designers, and see how technical decisions translate into business outcomes.

For students interested in product management, this is an opportunity to work on meaningful problems that sit at the core of modern AI enabled cyber resilient infrastructure and solutions.

The Opportunity
This is a hands-on product internship for someone curious about cyber resilience, AI, or enterprise software. You will work directly with a senior product leader and cross-functional teams (engineering, UX, and security) to design and ship a meaningful feature in Cyber Resilience.
You won’t just “shadow.” You’ll own a scoped initiative and help take it from concept to implementation.

What You’ll Work On (Example Summer Project)

During the internship, you will own a clearly defined feature. Example areas may include:
•    Identifying a customer pain point and proposing a clear, structured solution
•    Improving a user workflow to make it simpler or more intuitive
•    Analyzing product usage data to uncover insights and recommend improvements
•    Conducting research on market trends or competitive offerings
•    Defining requirements for an enhancement or new capability

By the end of the summer, you will:
•    Deliver a written product brief (problem, user, solution, metrics)
•    Create wireframes or mockups
•    Partner with engineering to define scope
•    Present your work to leadership

Job Requirements

•    Strong curiosity about cyber resilience, AI, or enterprise technology
•    Analytical mindset and comfort working with data
•    Clear written and verbal communication skills
•    Ability to structure ideas and think through tradeoffs
•    Bonus: prior coursework or projects in cybersecurity, cloud, AI, or software development

Education

Must be enrolled in an educational or professional program through summer 2026 or later, preferably looking for a candidate pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
