Job Summary**
The cMBA Summer Intern at Eli Lilly and Company (Taiwan) will contribute to strategic projects and gain hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on areas like market analysis, business development, and operational excellence, under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Job Responsibilities**
* Evaluate and redesign the affiliate's forecasting process — assess current state, identify gaps, and build a more structured, fit-for-purpose framework over an 8-week placement
* Interview stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, Supply, and Brand to map how forecasting is done today and benchmark against good practice in pharma affiliate forecasting
* Inventory internal and external data sources and tools (sales actuals, sell-in/sell-out, IQVIA, BI dashboards, Excel models) and assess quality, accessibility, and relevance
* Design a practical AI-enabled forecasting framework with process map, RACI, calendar, and a working variance analysis template (volume, price, mix, forecast vs. actual)
* Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and hand over documentation sufficient for the team to implement and maintain the new process
Job Qualifications**
* Currently enrolled in a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program with at least one year of study completed.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw insightful conclusions.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Prior experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or consulting industry is a plus.
* Strong interest in the pharmaceutical industry and Eli Lilly's mission.
* Ability to commit to the full duration of the summer internship program.
