What You Will Do

As a Civil Engineer Degree Apprentice , you'll gain hands-on experience on one of the UK's most exciting infrastructure projects while studying for a civil engineering degree. 


This apprenticeship is your chance to:


•    Work alongside experienced engineers on-site at Sizewell C, learning how to coordinate and control construction activities.
•    Study for a fully funded degree while earning a salary, with 20% of your time dedicated to academic learning .
•    Contribute to real-world projects , ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and sustainability.
•    Solve complex engineering challenges and develop innovative solutions that make a tangible impact.

What We Are Looking For


We're looking for motivated, curious, and ambitious people who are ready to take their first step into the world of civil engineering. If you're passionate about making a difference and eager to learn, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.


Here's what you'll need:


•    Academic Requirements :
•    112 UCAS tariff points or above , including Maths and a Science subject (eg, Physics, Chemistry, or Engineering).
•    A strong interest in civil engineering and a desire to build a career in the industry.


What You'll Do:


•    Support the coordination and control of construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.
•    Assist in translating design information for construction teams, helping to bring plans to life.
•    Collaborate with engineers and specialists to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
•    Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards , both protecting people and the environment.
•    Study towards a Civil Engineering degree while gaining practical experience on-site.

Desirable:

 

•    Previous experience in construction or engineering (eg, work experience, volunteering, or personal projects).
